The grapevine™ Neural Interface Platform brings an unprecendented level of compact design and integration to high-density neural interface applications. Initial configurations support high-density EMG, surface recording, and extracellular recording applications with online spike processing. The grapevine™ can be configured and customized with the companion trellis Application Suite using your own source code.
The grapevine™ platform brings an unprecedented level of compact design and integration to high-density neural interface applications. The system includes software
for data display and storage, as well as the ability to add user-specific processing code for interfacing to external systems in realtime. Stimulation options are
currently in development.

The trellis Application Suite is designed to display and store recorded data, set up closed loop stimulation, and configure the grapevine™ system. It is an open-source and multi-platform application suite, currently consisting of seven main components. The suite source code is available for both the scientific community and the general public under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 2.0, as published by the Free Software Foundation. We provide the open architecture to enable users to tailor the applications to their specific needs. We encourage the user community to provide feedback or even participate in the development of the application suite.
The programs were written using the C++ based QT cross platform development toolset by Trolltech. They can be run on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac OS X, and multiple flavors of Linux and UNIX. The QT toolkit ensures high performance and native look and feel on the supported platforms.
